We are currently seeking a Consultant - Highways Management to be part of our growing and successful Consultancy department. The ideal candidate would have established experience in the Highway Maintenance Industry including, Inspections, Lighting, Signals, Pavements &/or Streetworks.
The role will allow you to develop personally and professionally.
The Role:
As a Highways Management Consultant you will manage and develop trusted relationships with our existing public and private sector clients, becoming their trusted expert.
You will work with the Yotta application suite, which provides asset management tools for Highways, Street Lighting, Street Works, Environmental Services including Street Cleansing, Parks Grounds and Open Spaces along with Domestic and Trade Waste collection.
You will be expected to provide a blend of Industry & Software Consultancy, training and to attend and contribute to relevant technical steering groups and seminars.
Essential Criteria:
This role requires an experienced consultant and the successful candidate will ideally have the following:
- Established experience in the Highway Maintenance Industry including, Inspections, Lighting, Signals, Pavements &/or Streetworks
- Passionate about the industry and working with customers to deliver services and outcomes
- Strong software implementation skills
- Quick to learn new software, configuring to customer requirements
- Experience training customers on Industry best practice and bespoke product solutions
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Strong client/customer service experience
- Previous experience in a similar field based software consultancy role
- Happy to travel regularly and hold a full UK driving license
Desirable Criteria:
- Business development experience, including soft selling both the existing core services and develop new work streams within both the core marketplace.
Qualifications:
- Degree qualified or in lieu, significant relevant experience
- Recognised industry qualification would be advantageous
- Membership of a professional body
